Abstract

From the famous lanes of London to Dallas’ back alleys, street art is all over the world. This report outlines my struggles to capture the true essence of London’s hip-hop culture and how these realizations of cultural safety zones led me to turn inward on my own community. Several members of Dallas’ famous Deep Ellum neighborhood contribute to a multi-perspective view of graffiti in Dallas, in its pros and cons.
