Abstract

The practice of law requires the creation and management of massive amounts of paperwork. Software that combines the use of templates and macros can assemble documents for the user, rather than the attorney having to type out volumes of documents from scratch. Firms can manage newly-created documents either by using expensive document management software or by taking advantage of their computers' hierarchical file systems. This article discusses various means for assembling and managing legal documents.
