Abstract
Many articles have been written about the origin of lunar craters and also about the origin of certain peculiar structures found in the crust of the earth. Since these craters and structures have at times been referred to the impact of giant meteorites it is well to consider the dynamics of these impacts. No effort will be made to either prove or disprove the meteorite theory.
