Abstract
The purpose of this study has been to determine the plant species of two bogs in northeastern Texas, on similar geological deposits under similar conditions of rainfall, temperature, and growing season, and to determine the extent of floristic similarity. The two bogs selected lie approximately 65 miles apart. Both are small areas sub-oval in outline, fed by hillside seepage, and drained by small streams which flow roughly southwest.
