Abstract

The South Bosque Field is located in McLennan County, Texas about eight miles southwest of the city of Waco. At one time, the field covered an area approximately one-half mile wide and three miles long, extending from the vicinity of the town of South Bosque to Hog Creek. There are very few good records of the wells available at this time, so, unfortunately, much of the information relative to this field is conflicting and unreliable.
