Abstract

I have attempted to shape this paper by putting words to a cloud of ideas and thoughts that have always followed my work. This cloud shifts and changes its form bringing out various qualities of my work to light. I have started my thesis by writing about the process of making, and the space where the making takes place. This is followed by an exploration of the various themes that constantly come up while making my work. Some of those themes include doubt, improvisations, curiosities, accidents, and experimentation. Overall, my thesis tackles the mental, cognitive, physical, environmental, socio-political and economic factors that underlie the presented product that my works of art are.
