Abstract
An expert panel discussed the ethical complications and limitations of rural representation and how to address access to counsel challenges as part of the Deason Center's STAR Justice Series. Panelists included Travis Finck, Executive Director, North Dakota Commission on Legal Counsel for Indigents; John Fossum, County Attorney, Rice County, Minnesota; Professor Pamela Metzger, Director, Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center, SMU Law; and Professor Lauren Sudeall, Director, Center for the Access to Justice, GSU School of Law.
