Southwestern Legal Center News (1948-1957) documents the activities of SMU's Southwestern Legal Center and its close relationship with the Southwestern Legal Foundation, now The Center for American and International Law (CAIL). Robert G. Storey, Dean of the SMU School of Law, founded the Southwestern Legal Foundation after returning to Texas from his service as a prosecutor during the Nuremberg Trials. The newsletter highlights mid-century legal education and professional programming at SMU, including institutes, conferences, and events in law enforcement, oil and gas, tax, and international law.
