About The Dialogue

The Dialogue is the student-run undergraduate academic journal of the Southern Methodist University John G. Tower Center for Public Policy and International Affairs. The SMU Tower Center was created to commemorate the late US senator, John G. Tower, whose life was dedicated to public service and education. In the spirit of John Tower’s commitment to educate and inspire a new generation of thoughtful leaders, the Tower Center seeks to bridge the gap between the world of ideas, scholarship and teaching, and the practice of politics.

Opinions expressed in issues of The Dialogue represent only the views of the author(s); they do not represent the views of Southern Methodist University, the John G. Tower Center for Public Policy and International Affairs, the Tower Center Student Forum, The Dialogue Editorial Board or Faculty Review Board.
